2025 NFL OT PROSPECTS

OT1 JOSH CONERLY/ OREGON/ 6"4/ 315 LBS/ MID 1ST
Pros: Athleticism, Pass Pro, Footwork

Cons: Pass Block Strength, Technique

Archetype: Pass Blocker

Comparison: Andrew Thomas
Scouting Report: I really liked Josh Conerly’s tape. Watching him handle premier pass rushers like Penn State’s speed rusher Abdul Carter and Ohio State’s Power Rusher JTT was a huge accomplishment. He has good bend, good footwork and is able to run blocked effectively well. He has to clean up some things, but I didn’t see any glaring weaknesses. I have him as My OT1 Which is contrary to a lot of NFL draft boards, but that’s how my grading system worked out. I think he has the potential to be a pro caliber player and be an immediate RT starter, however, given the value of LT will he be asked to switch over?

OT2 KELVIN BANKS JR/ TEXAS/ 6"4/ 320 LBS/ MID 1ST
Pros: Durability, athleticism, high motor

Cons: Height? stiffness, technique

Archetype: Run Blocker

Comparison: Jedrick Wills

Scouting Report: Kelvin Banks Jr is an ironman LT. He played in the SEC and in the CFP against some good pass rushers and did very well, only giving up 1 sack in 15 games. Watching his film he actually excels more in the run blocking then pass blocking, but both are above average attributes. He also moves very well for a OL, able to accelerate up to backers and DBs on screen passes. There is some stiffness in his hips, which could result in some poor technique at times and he could work to get his pad level down. Kelvin Banks Jr has proven himself to be a great pick in this draft class in the early to mid 1st round range based on skill and positional value.

OT3 WYATT MILUM/ WVU/ 6"6/ 317 LBS/ MID 1ST
Pros: Mauler, Size,

Cons: Footwork, Pass Set,

Archetype: Run Blocker

Comparison: Anthony Castonzo

Scouting Report: Wyatt Milum is a OT that has a nasty streak when it comes to blocking, especially in the run game. He has a fairly high motor and climbs to the 2nd level with a great get off. He’s tall, long, and has shown the ability to play through 3 full seasons of college football as a starter. He’s a team captain and played in his bowl game which shows he’s a team player as well. Some things he needs to improve is his technique; dropping his eyes, bending at the waist, and hand placement. I think he protects the edge well (zero sacks in his career) and is a strong run blocker, showing me that he can be a solid LT at the NFL level, and if OT doesn’t work out, I think he has the ability to kick inside.

Pros: Leadership, flexibility,

Cons: Awareness, technique, pass block power

Archetype: Pass Blocker

Comparison: Kaleb McGary

Scouting Report: I was excited to watch Will Campbell’s tape since he is a projected top 10 pick and I hate to say that I was slightly disappointed. Nothing against Campbell, he does some good things such as his ability to bend, footwork and run block technique are very good. However, against SEC and high NFL draft competition, he struggled. I think Campbell can be a good LT in the league, however, I don’t view him as a blue chip prospect in the class, let alone the best OT this year. I still have a late 1st round/early second grade on my board.

0T5 ANTHONY BELTON/ NC STATE/ 6"6/ 336 LBS/ MID 2ND
Pros: Size, aggression, run block, strength

Cons: Feet, technique, pass bock

Archetype: Run Blocker

Comparison: Kelechi Osemele

Scouting Report: Anthony Belton might be the strongest OT prospect in this class. The way he moves players when he runs blocks is very impressive. He has great size, but he also moves very well. He has shown the ability to stay healthy and play many college football snaps. He is a bit raw as a pass blocker, but I like his upside and nasty aggression he brings when he is on the field and he could end up being a sleeper all pro rookie if he finds the right team and develops like I think he can.

OT6 JOSH SIMMONS/ OHIO STATE/ 6"5/ 310 LBS/ MID 2ND
Pros: Feet, pass block power, high motor

Cons: Injury, flexibility

Archetype: Pass Block

Comparison: Terrion Armstead

Scouting Report: Josh Simmons has some really great qualities you look for in an NFL OT. He has the height, strength, and is good in both pass and run blocking. He is able to move laterally and climbs often to linebackers. The biggest concern on hm will be passing his physicals after a season ending knee injury. Most players bounce back from that and with his toughness he will do whatever it takes to get back on the field. Really good prospect that took a bit of a hit with his draft stock, but I think he can be an impactful starter caliber LT or RT in the league.

OT7 AIREONTE ERSERY/ MINN/ MID 2ND
Pros: Size, Durability, Run Block Strength,
Cons: Athleticism, finesse pass block, technique
Archetype: Run Blocker
Comparison: James Carpenter
Scouting Report: Aireonte Ersery is a massive OT prospect. He has good strength, durability, and shows great strength in the run blocking schemes. He is kind of a dancing bear type player, but his footwork and athleticism are average. Minnesota has been producing some quality OL such as C JMS and massive OT Daniel Faalel and Aireonte Ersery looks to continue that line of production at the NFL level. He needs to work on some things, but can potentially be a swing tackle and starter in a couple of years.

OT8 ARMAND MEMBOU/ MIZZOU/ LATE 2ND
Pros: Movement, Athletic Traits, Experience, Zero Sacks
Cons: Second level climb, low motor, sloppy footwork, Height
Archetype: Balanced
Comparison: Chuma Edoga
Scouting Report: Armand Membou is a projected RT prospect from Mizzou. He has great athletic traits that make him an intriguing prospect. His production and experience is something to consider as he has played over 2,000 career snaps and gave up only 3 sacks (0 in 2024). He is on the smaller side when it comes to prototypical NFL OTs and his low motor (effort) is noticeable on film. He has some good traits that can be worked on and polished at the next level and while he has the ability to start in a couple years, he is not a sure fire prospect right now. I him graded as a late 2nd round pick, but the positional value of OTs will get him into the 1st RD.

OT9 EMERY JONES JR/ LSU/ EARLY 3RD
Pros: Experience, high motor, awareness(blitz pick up)
Cons: Pass Blocking, bend, footwork
Archetype: Run Blocker
Comparison: Alex Leatherwood
Scouting Report: Emery Jones Jr plays as a run blocking machine. His ability to get to the second level LBs and block down on DL is efficient. He has some good tools to work with including his size, high motor and awareness to allow him to pick up blitz and stunts easily. All these things make project or view him as a potential guard because he gets absolutely exposed at OT when defenders speed rush by him, forcing him to run the hoop against pass rushers. He just doesn’t have the quick enough feet or pass set to handle the OT job, but for now I project him as a solid prospect that can swing inside if things don’t work at Tackle. I like him as a day two pick in the late 2nd or early third round.

OT1O CAMERON WILLIAMS/ TEXAS/ LATE 3RD
Pros: Height, weight, technique, flexibility
Cons: Athleticism, blocking finesse
Archetype: Balanced
Comparison: Donovan Smith
Scouting Report: Compared to his counterpart, Cameron Williams' film was…average. He has great size and intangible skills for his position, however his attributes such as blocking, acceleration, and footwork could use some fine tuning. He gave up 5 sacks and allowed almost 20 hurries, which compared to most other tackles in this class is a lot. I think Cameron Williams could still be a good pick up in the 3rd round, but his ceiling is much lower than what analysts are predicting right now.
